The Accountant General cooperative thrift and credit society was formed in year 2002, to act as a durable cooperative society for the office of the Accountant General.

It started as a small and insignificant group of  people, with oneness of mind and singleness of purpose, to help civil servants in the office of the accountant-general uplift themselves through the well-known template of the cooperative society.

Since then, the society has grown and continues to blossom and has been transformed as a result of qualitative and credible management to become one of the most dignified and creditable societies within the salary-earners’ union.

The Co-operative Society was registered with the Ministry of Community and Cooperative Services as OFFICE OF THE ACCOUNTANT-GENERAL COOPERATIVE SOCIETY, ABEOKUTA on 5th September, 2012 with the registration number 9909 and also joined the Ogun State Salary Earners as the mother union.
